You can not set a general standards config that is encapsulated in a specific job file and always applied to that job only. My impression, and I could easily be wrong, is that the general standards config, is limited to a few configurations that are applied to all job files. I also assume all dimension from cut list do not incorporate added length for into dattos/rabbets etc.correct? I assume that the generated cut list for rails and stiles are assembled lengths and not rough length prior to cope and stick cutting? correct? I probably have 6-8 different combinations and reasons to have the cabinet wall flush outside, flush inside, 1/8” back from inside etc. Maybe have a small text box so you could write a description of the setting. I don’t know how many other people build like this but to have all of the different stile widths and scribe info saved and able to be assigned per cabinet would be a real time saver for me. Then drag a lower onto the elevation print and be able to assign a lower standards setting for this cabinet only. Setting 2 assign alternate stile widths, scribes etc., setting 3,4,5 etc. For instance, go into base standards setting 1, assign your stile widths etc. I would really like to be able to assign multiple base and upper standards to a single job. This software looks like it will do what I need it to. I am retired and am designing kitchen cabinets for our kitchen remodel. Love this program it definitely is exactly what we need right now for our small business. I have added these dimensions to the standards and yet the rail lengths do not match manual calculations. I mostly use 2.375 stiles and rails with a. I am new to program and was wondering why my door rails seem to be 3/4 inch longer than what they should be.You have to register before you can post on our site.
